My daughter was diagnosed with pan colitis at 3. She just turned 12 last weekend 
. After 8 years of drugs and tests no real control of her pain and disease she asked me if she could have the colectomy. We did all the prepping...MRI and consults and another colonoscopy and decided to wait until summer break started to do the surgery. In the interim i put her on a new probiotic. With in a week her pain was gone. The mucus was gone and she was regular for the first time since she was a baby. A year later and shes in remission taking nothing but her probio5 once a day.
Anyone else have positive results with a probiotic?
